something you can do to be unique is have not only one style going on but at least two and MAYBE three. first of all that's good that you don't want the pulled back style; that is just so played out. In your case i woud do some braids in front (half up half down) and at the bottom back have the same braids done. With the loose hair you can always curl just the tipes and hairspray them real well. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say let me knoe if you need any help. GOOD LUCK

I am pretty much the same way. I want something a little bit different, and I do not like the buns on top. I would much rather prefer to have my hair down. I like the braid idea, it's more unique than other styles.

That sounds like a pretty neat style if I am picturing it right. I agree with the buns and the hair up. That seems to be what everyone does now. I have long hair and really want to leave it down but I haven't doesn't what exactly to do with it yet.

Why not consider adding some colour? You could use some temporary, clip in colours extensions to add somethig really funky but still pretty.

That's a good idea. They also have that color you can put in your hair that only lasts for so many days.

I envision spiky edge like hair with straight flat ironed sections and possibly multicolor all through out.

Yeah, it really does depend on hair length. Somebody with short hair could do the spiky style, maybe the front of it flat and straight with the back spiked up. Different colors to match the dress would be perfect too.

Spiky styles are not really limited to short hair. Medium length hair can be flat iron in any type of direction and then sprayed with stuff to make it stick out as well.

I have long hair and there is no way that I could get the spikes to stay up. But I really like the ideas you guys have. Maybe I will cut my hair between now and then where I could try some of these styles.
