How about all over mini-braids for a really unique prom look? It can take AGES to do but the result can look really amamzing.

That could be cute, depending on the dress and hair length. What about even two braids, kind of like a Native American princess look?

I never really thought about braids be it lots of them or one or two. That is a good idea. I have really long hair so not to sure about the multiples of braids. It sure would take alot of time to do with my hair.

I have a lot of hair too, and I have braided my entire head a couple of times. It took a couple of hours, but it was alright. I liked that when I took them out, my hair was a giant poof ball until I took a shower.

We used to do that when I was younger. Put braids all through your hair while wet and then go to sleep. And in the morning like the above poster said it would be poofed out. Now that might be a style that would be different.

What would be nice too it to weave something through two braids, some ribbon matching your dress or so.

That's an interesting idea, putting a ribbon in the braids to make them stand out. I think it would work for some people, but it's definitely not the style for me.
