Hair Dye!

Why not temporarily dye your hair something really funkey for the prom this year? Go completely different, but still gorgeous.

I think that is a great idea. If I am correct you can even buy that dye that will only last a couple of days and then washes out?

You can get wash in wash out dye, yes. Or, you can buy coloured gel which can just add a slight tint.

I didn't know there was a gel to color your hair. I am assuming that washes out also? I will have to check this stuff out. thanks for the suggestion.

I think that hair dye is a great way to go. I have heard of some schools not allowing it though.

I actually permanently dyed my hair last month, not to change the subject or anything. I'm just really happy with how it came out.
I have never tried anything too different, so I think that's why it's so great.

That's true, I guess it depends on how strict school are with this kind of thing. I'd be guessing for proms and formals it would be allowed?

It really depends on the school district though. Even if it is allowed just for prom, you have to be sure that the dye will wash out before school the next weekday.

Just a warning that you shouldn't put wash out dye on bleached hair! It likely won't wash out

I don't really get why schools would not allow this. I mean in this day and age colored hair should be the least of a schools worries.

That's exactly what I think. Why care about what color my hair is when there are kids who are going hungry at school because school lunch is so expensive?
