And yes, it tends to stick in bleached hair because it's drier and sucks it all in.

Wonderful idea. I really like funky hair style, dye with different color and checking out before leaving to prom is more better, if it doesn't go well with your skin or face better to opt in for a different look.

I never thought about that but yes it is a good idea to do this a little before the prom. That way you do have time to change it if you don't like it. I think color looks better anyway once it has been in for a few and tones down somewhat.

Right now I have my natural blond, which is gold colored, and then a couple inches of black on the bottom. I am currently thinking about dying my natural blond a rust colored red for the first time, what do you guys think?

Oh yeah sounds good. I got my hair dye done, it is almost golden blond but I turned it to black with a reddish tinge added on, it looks really good on me rather than blond. I am not sure how long can I think of having it on.

I think that the rust color red would be a nice color. Not knowing your skin tone I cannot say for sure but I like the color.

I don't even know what exactly my skin tone would be considered, but I am very fair skinned if that helps at all.

I have fairer complexion and it matched my complexion well. Otherwise I would have tried to go for another one immediately.

Thanks for the info. I am really excited to dye my hair, but I am still saving up money to do the rust color.

Default Hair dye

I have never tried anything funky. I have my hair high lighted a few times. So you are saying that the washout dye may not wash out of my hair.
