Band or DJ

So which do you prefer? Do you like a band or a DJ at your prom. We have always had DJ's and to be honest I really prefer them over bands.

I would rather have a DJ. I think that they are so much better then a band. You can have any kind of music you want.

I agree with both of you. A DJ offers so much more versatility. With a band, it's hard to please everybody and play a wide variety of music. Maybe a band for the first half of the night and then a DJ later, or maybe even in between songs by the band?
