What do you prefer for prom bags - a clutch bag/purse or something for on the shoulder? What size?

I like the small clutch bags myself. But the only problem with them is I have a bad habit of walking off and leaving the purse sit there because it doesn't have a strap.

I need something small with a strap, and I love either black or white. I do not like really like clutches, because I either forget it or find it a hassle to carry it around with me.

I think it might be a good idea to take one of those purses you can hang off your wrist. Best of both worlds!

I have never seen the purses that you hang off your wrist, but they sound interesting. Does anybody have examples?
