I have used both a curling iron and curlers that you leave in over night. Over night curlers seem to work better for longer lasting curlers, but a curling iron can make the curls more manageable.

I usually wear the ones you use over night or hot rollers. I just find it easier that way and the curls seem to last longer.

Thanks, guys! That's exactly what I wanted to know, I'll go or stay in curlers.

This forum is great.

I usually flip my head upside down to when I brush the curls and then spray it with hairspray before I flip it backup. You're welcome. I hope these help you.

I feel the best way to curl long hair is by using hair rollers. Curling irons might be hard to use on long hair and might even harm out your hair, so better use the hair rollers for those perfect curls.

Yes, you do need to be careful with the curling iron because it can really damage your hair if you keep it on too long. It can even damage your hair with normal use, so be careful.

I personally was never able to get really good curls that stayed in with a curling iron. And you have to leave it in so long to get the curl that you're right you run the risk of damaging your hair.

I think to some extent the curls depends even on the hair you possess. If the texture of your hair is more curly originally then it is even more easy to get further curls but if you have a straight hair and wish to get it curled it might not stay for long and even might be curled with great difficulty.
My hair is medium length coz' I got a hair cut recently but tho it was long I have curly natural hair so it was easily curled without use of any curling irons or any other curlers, turning the hair when it is wet into curls used to leave my hair in curls, but it was really hard to straighten my hair.

I have long hair and it is very straight so it don't keep the curls very well. I would love to have a little more wave to it. Maybe then it would keep the curls better.
