Default Extensions?

Well im not exactly sure but i dont think cutting your hair off is a good idea! Unless you are just wanting short hair!!! They only last 2 weeks but if you take real good care of them they last a month...MAYBE. im thinking about getting them for my prom hair style!!! theyre kinda cool...but anyway do what you think you want just let your hair grow out if you want...its too much trouble every two weeks ive heard!!!

Default Advice from someone who had extensions last prom

I had extensions put in my hair last year for prom. They looked amazing. My hair is naturally then and or at least year was to my shoulders and the style I wanted required it to be considerable thicker and longer. I had my extensions done at a JCPenny salon. There are 2 main types of extensions. The "weave" type which is where they are weaved in, or the glued type which is what i got. The weave type is supposed to last for several months and is done by braiding. The braiding tends to be VERY expensive. While the glue type is done with a glue substance, and not very expensive. I paid only $40 plus the $10 I paid for the extensions ($50 total). I kept my extensions in for a week, although you can take them out sooner than that by simply using baby oil & a comb to work the glue away from your scalp. No one knew that I had the extensions put in, or at least they didn't until I told them. If you want any more information Just email me and I will be happy to help.

Hey There, I just got extensions put in 5 days ago, for my gr.12 grad, I normally have hair just to my shoulders and it's pretty thing. Now i have hair a few inches past my bra strap, and it's thick, and i love them!! you have to have patience, they require alot of care. my grad is not for another 2 weeks so i'm really hoping they last till then. I got mine woven in. it only took 2 hours, and the girl was really great!!! they look 100% natural no one could tell other then the fact that my hair had grown about 15 inches over night! haha i paid 240 for mine, She charged me 140 to get them in and the hair was 100! It's real asian hair, and it's very healthy. But so far they have been soo much fun, and i love having long hair. I definately recomend them just be careful with the timing. I think i may of got mine put in too early. if you have any other questions or would like to see pictures please e-mail me at stephanie__dowling@hotmail.com

Hey! Well I cut my long hair (about to my bra strap) like 2 weeks ago cuz it was totally fried up to just past my shoulders. I wanted to get extensions so I got some - they're realy hair 18" long and it only cost me 60$ [canadian]! If you have higlites I believe it's 80$ cuz there are two colors.

Anyway. my friend has put in extensions before so she's not charging me anything for it. She's done it for a couple of my friends just for fun and it looked really good (it lasted about 2 weeks or so)! Just make sure you touch the hair before hand because I got beautiful soft black hair and my friend got brown and hers feels like horse hair. Also make sure the color matches exactly or it won't look natural.

Also, make sure that when you get it you tie your hair up when you sleep so that the braid won't get loose and your hair won't look weird. And of course be careful combing it and when you wash it so that it doesn't pull on the hair.

It's really important to be careful so that it stays in longer. Best of luck if you chose to get some!!! Ciao -xoxo-
