Default $$ for hair

Hi, I am a hairdresser, and I think you should be able to get your prom "doo" for the price of a regular wash and set at the salon you go to, usually around 12.00 - 20.00. I do realise that some salons jack up the price for weddings and prom... I myself like to do Prom hair so i charge the 15.00 we charge our weekly doos!!! HAVE FUN!!!!

More expensive IS usually better, though!
It really depends on what KIND of style you want. I wouldn't go over 60$ for anything. And not over $20 if it's not an updo.
Pretty much:
Left down - 10-20
Simple updo - 15-40
Complex updo - 30-60
----
Again, it all depends. If you're willing to pay a lot - be sure you're at least getting what you want. If it isn't PERFECT- tell the hairdresser so. A good hairdresser shouldn't be insulted.

This is message is a little late, sorry.

well an inexpensive option is to go to a hair school were students do you your hair... it sounds a little scary but if u get a student who is almost finished then it works out well! it is alot cheaper than a fancy salon but same quality and plus the student will be supervised by an instructer.
