I never really cared for them myself. When I see them I just don't think of prom I think of beauty queen pagent. I have seen a few where them to prom though.

I personally think they're making a bit of a comeback! They've been a bit out of fashion for a few years but I see them a lot now.

I have always been self conscious about wearing them to dances. I don't want to wear them if I don't think that other people will be wearing them. I just don't see them much anymore, but I would really like to wear one to a dance soon. Maybe this year will be my year.

Give it a go! Just go simple, get a really basic one that blends in with your hairstyle a little and not to sparkly h

You're probably right that they are making a comeback. I have seen them in alot of the bridal magazines lately.

I've seen them in bridal magazines as well, but I think that there is a big difference in a wedding hairstyle and a prom hairstyle. On a wedding, the bride should be the center of attention, so a tiara is fitting. I'm not so sure about prom though. I really would like to wear one though.

I have never been a fan of tiara's either. I think they tend to look too entirely "Prissy" looking.

I thinkt hey're best pulled off in a totally non-prissy way. I mean, with wild hair and some dramatic makeup, not the typical princess-y look.

Not to change the subject but all I can think of is Carrie in the movie by the same name. Didn't she wear a tiara?
