I just watched the movie Carrie last night, and from what I remember, she was not wearing a tiara until after she was crowned the Prom Queen or whatever that ... Full thread below.

I guess I live a sheltered life, because I have never saw a tiara worn in a messy type of fashion. Always prim, proper and prissy

People such as Courtney Love used to wear them with huge messy hair and fake fur coats. A kind of...rebellious 'princess' look.

I think that a tiara can be sexy with tousled, messed up hair. Courtney Love wearing them however, not so much.

Lol1 Yes, that really was a bad example but i meant to show the two extremes of wearing tiaras. Meeting inthe middle is nice.
