need help

i have no clue what to do with my hair for prom. I know I dont want a updo but my dress is all about the back so i want to show the back off(Betsey Johnson Coral Silk Straps cross on the back with pearls on the straps). I would like the hair maybe on the side but my friend already did that for formal so I dont think I should. so need help maybe half up half down but i dont want to really cover the back HELP!!

How about just use a bunch of intricate twists and curls and pin up the sides and let some of the back cascade down?

I think your best bet would be to go with something on the side. I wouldn't let it bother you that a friend did it at a formal. This way you will show off the whole back of the dress. By the way your dress sounds really pretty.

I say go for the side too. If it's what you wants and it sounds like it would go with your dress perfectly. Your friend got the idea somewhere herself, soit's not exactly like copying her.
